Open Pot

Open Pot is informal financial systeem among friends.

Open means it is transparent, not owned and used by consensus.

The idea is to add an financial model for friend to friend services and projects without complexity. Since there are costs to each activity it is nice to have a kind of trading model. I do something for you, you do something me; like you spend an hour to improve my python coding, I give you an hour 3D-printing time on my reprap. It is what friends do anyway, at least I do....

Then there are always people that not much knowledge/time to offer, but have money.... Money is always handy, for buying coffee, beer and pizza's, and of course more hardware. However financial transaction imply formal invoices, identities, administration etc etc. To have no formal issues we have the POT.

In pot (input)

• money from donations, sponsoring, gifts
• invoices, tickets etc etc (shopping, hardware bills, traveling tickets)

Out pot (output)

• money to a projects, hardware, meeting etc etc.
• invoices tickets that you can declare elsewhere.
